Universal and Extended Funding

Universal Government Funding: All children ages 3 – 4 years old are entitled to 570 hours a year (15 hours per week, Term Time Only). Children become eligible for this offer the term after their 3rd birthday. Families with 3 – 4 year olds who meet the eligibility criteria will be able to claim an additional 570 hours (15 hours a week) totally to 1140 hours a year or 30 hours a week. 

Some children aged 2 will also be able to claim 15 hours depending on eligibility.

The Beachside Montessori Nursery will be offering stretched funding which means you can use your funded hours over the 51 weeks which equates to less hours per week. The stretched all year round funding will consist of either 11 hours per week or 22 hours (depending on your eligibility).

 

We aim to be as flexible as possible with our families and have provided a few examples of our sessions:

 

2, 3 and 4 year old funded entitlement (15 hours per week, term time only)

3 sessions of 5 hours e.g. 8 – 1 or 1 – 6

 

 

2, 3 and 4 year old funded entitlement (11 hours per week, all year round)

2 sessions of 5 ½ hours e.g. 8 - 1:30

2 session of 4 hours e.g. 8 – 12/ 9 - 1 plus 1 session of 3 hours 9-12

 

3 and 4 year old funded entitlement (30 hours per week, Term time only)

Half day and full day sessions available

 

3 and 4 year old funded entitlement (22 hours per week, all year round)

4 sessions of 5 ½ hours e.g. 8 - 1:30

2 session of 9 hours, e.g. 9 – 6  and 1 session of 4 hours, e.g 9-1/ 8-12 or 1 – 5

 

                                               

Due to Government rates being lower than our nursery fees we require a £3.50 supplement for a cooked lunch and £2.50 for high tea.

This payment is to be made a week in advance.

If this is not feasible then the option to provide a packed lunch is available, provided it is in keeping with our Healthy Eating Policy.
